Marella Cruises Replaces Thomson Cruises for 2018 & 2019 Onward

Marella Cruise Holidays 2018 & 2019Instead of Thomson cruises or Tui Cruises, UK holidaymakers will have the new Marella cruise brand instead. Thomson Holidays will be rebranded as Tui holidays and at the same time the Thomson Cruises range will change to Marella Cruises at the same time. This is to help differentiate between the European Tui Cruises range and the UK cruises operated by Tui in the UK. Marella Cruises will be sold primarily to UK holidaymakers via Tui holidays new UK web site. This way there is no confusion as to what cruise you are booking. The last thing you want is to be is on a ship full of Germans with all the entertainment and menus in German as well. The same will apply to German holidaymakers as well so they are not on a ship that has its entertainment, tours and menus in English. The new Marella Cruises will still have the distinctive Tui smile logo with the new Marella cruises logo next to it. The change to Marella from Thomson cruise will not affect the quality of your cruise. If anything with the addition of new ships the options will get better. There will be more adult only cruises as well as more all inclusive Marella cruises to choose from. Don’t forget Marella cruises also include port charges and tips unlike some other cruise holidays.

As with Thomson cruises Marella cruises will still feature flights from 22 UK airports to link up with the different cruise ports including the new Marella Explorer which becomes part of the fleet from May 2018

For the launch of the winter 2018 – 2019 Marella cruises will be base the newly renamed Marella Discovery in Asia in Langkawi, Malaysia. The Marella Discovery will feature a great new itineraries offering adult only cruises. Some of the exciting new ports you could visit include Cambodia, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Mangalore, Colombo and Kochi (Cochin) in India. There will be 18 new ports of call in total.

For winter Marella cruises will base two ships in Barbados for the 2018 – 2019 winter season. This is the first time that they have based more than one ship in Barbados. The two ships based in Barbados will be the Marella Celebration and the Marella Explorer.

Further information on all the new and exciting Tui holidays and Marella cruises holidays will be released shortly. This will coincide with the full name change from Thomson Holidays to Tui and probably also with the launch of the new Tui holidays winter 2018 – 2019 winter brochure. If you are looking for the Tui summer 2019 brochure you will have to wait until around April 2019.
